You probably have heard about this movie or at lease the short story it's based on, with the same title by Stephen King.
1408 is about a man who specializes in debunking paranormal occurrences and checks into the fabled room 1408 in the Dolphin Hotel. Soon after settling in, he confronts genuine terror. [IMDB]
The director, Mikael Håfström, is a Swede and good things come from that country now and then. Previously he made Derailed though, so I'm not quite sure.
The cast is great though, John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. I actually look forward to this, but won't get too excited by fear to be let down. For instance the poster isn't exactly fantastic or original...
