28 WEEKS LATER - POSTER

March 22nd 2007 10:10
For you that haven't seen 28 Days Later, it's about zombies.

Anyone else feeling zombies just aren't COOL anymore? It's like having the same hairstyle as those Beverly Hills 90210 guys. But that doesn't stop Hollywood from producing a sequel, of course.

So what's this about then? IMDB says: "Seven months after the rage virus has annihilated the British isles, the US army declares that the war against infection has been won, and that the reconstruction of the country can begin. In the first wave of returning refugees, a family is reunited--but one of them unwillingly carries a terrible secret. The virus is not yet dead, and this time, it is more dangerous than ever."

One thing's for sure, they tried really hard to come up with the title - 28 Weeks Later. Not days, weeks. That sounds even more boring. I'm not negative though (yeah right), so I'll give it a credit for the new poster:

I think it's cool in a communist way.

oh right, so can I safely conclude 28 days later was not really the end?

Meh, don't watch horror movies.

If anyone with an ounce of brain matter actually took a look at this series they'd know that when there is a major outbreak of an infectious disease, some form of it always survives. These films (of the 28 days later series...yes there will be a third. ) show possible reactions to such an outbreak and capitalize on these tactics for films sake.

Hi Anon, I agree with you. Movies often have some truth in them, and what you say is very logical.

A third is probably coming, Hollywood doesn't let go easy.

Cheers,
