If you haven't heard of this movie yet, now's the time to become excited.
American Gangster is about a drug lord that smuggles heroin into Harlem during the 1970s by hiding the stash inside the coffins of American soldiers returning from Vietnam [IMDB].
If the incredibly interesting plot isn't enough for you, take a quick look at the cast: Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Cuba Gooding Jr., Josh Brolin.
To f* this up would be like eating a banana with the ass. Oops, that sounded wrong, didn't it? Point is, it would be nearly impossible for director Ridley Scott to not create something beautiful with the material he has to work with. He's on a good path with the posters anyway...

Man you're freaking me out sometimes. Denzel and Crowe??? Those are almost flawless!
Don't know why or how, but seriously, if their name is on a movie you know it's good. So far, almost.

He doesnt annoy me anywhere near as much as Crowe but I always wished Laurence Fishburne got the parts Denzel is offered because he would do so much more with them.

JD, I think this looks like it could be great - but even Ridley isn't above reproach.... "A Good Year"... or whatever it was called...???
