TracyNATALIE IMBRUGLIA'S NEW FILM - ELISE

Natalie Imbruglia is coming back to Australia this month to start rehearsals for the new film, Elise. The reason why the story caught my attention was that she stated that she needed to practice her Aussie accent as she has lost it from being in England for so many years.
So, being the investigative and thorough blogger that I am, I decided to see if it was true. I found a clip on YouTube and yes, she does have quite an English inflection, but the Aussie twang is still in there too.
According to the SMH, she stated, "I've set aside my personal time to sort of ... well, I have to get my accent back." Apparently she misses her Aussie voice and is looking forward to its return. Fair enough.
Elise is about a woman whose life is troubled by the disappearance of her sister 20 years earlier. Filming will happen in Adelaide in about 6 weeks. She also has a CD due out this month, Glorious.
What a busy girl.
