THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM IS COMING SOON
August 4th 2007 00:23
Aha, it’s time for the next Bourne instalment, The Bourne Ultimatum comes out in Australia on the 23rd August 2007.This is the third film in the series, the follow-up to the 2004's The Bourne Supremacy and 2002's The Bourne Identity.
Agent Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is being hunted by the people in the CIA who trained him to be an assassin. All he wanted was to disappear. Instead, Jason Bourne is now hunted by the people who made him what he is. Having lost his memory and the one person he loved, he is undeterred by the barrage of bullets and a new generation of highly-trained killers. Bourne has only one objective: to go back to the beginning and find out who he was. He knows that in order to have a future he needs to unravel his past.
He travels from Moscow, Paris, Madrid and London to Tangier and New York City in his quest to find the real Jason Bourne-- while trying to outwit the scores of cops, federal officers and Interpol agents with him in their crosshairs.
I only saw the first Bourne film and thought it was pretty good but it’s not really my kind of film. The exotic locations are appealing though and maybe it’s worth seeing for that aspect...
Is anyone planning on seeing the film and waiting for its arrival? Here’s a trailer to give you a taste....

I can understand you not getting into the Bourne films. They’re dick-pics (boys' films). I’d certainly like to see it. Whether or not I get to the cinema, or wait for it to come out on DVD is another matter.

I've never heard of that expression, that's brilliant and does describe that genre well.
I hope it's as good you would like it to be, most people that I've heard talk about the two previous films say how great they are. So there's a strong chance that this film will continue in that way.

I've never read any of the books, but have heard they are good.
Gosh, so the second one wasn't good? I wonder what this one will be like, hopefully it's improved.

The reason you haven't heard that expression before? I made it up this morning. It just didn't seem fair that sheilas have their chick-flicks and us blokes have nothing.

Tracy, I don't like Matt Damon (at all).. but his acting can be haunting and good.... particularly these Bourne movies.
I am thrilled thereis to be a part three...whoopie! I heartily look forward to that and will watch 1 and 2 two nights before I hit the cinema on Cheap Tuesday. It'll be really interesting to see where they take the story...
thanks for the heads up!

Yes, David did come up with an apt expression didn't he?
I also don't really like Matt Damon either. Not sure why as like you said he is a good actor.
I know what you mean about going to the cinema on cheapie night, it's extortionate otherwise and I try to avoid giving my money to those big corporations. I tend to go to the smaller ones like Dendy where their prices are far more reasonable.
Thanks for popping in, glad you like the news!

Matt Damon may not be 'flashy' but...there's something about him...and he looks great executing Krav Maga moves!...and in my useless opinion, *Damon captured the gentle savagery of DW's/Bourne's character well.
I'm looking forward to it.
...dick-pics??
...testrogen....
*anyone remember Richard Chamberlain?

Nice to see you.
I keep changing my thoughts about this film (inconsistent blogger aren't I?). One minute I think it might be a good one (when I'm in that kind of mood) and then other times it just doesn't appeal at all. Ah well, it's nothing that I have to decide straightaway.
