It took me a long time to *want* to watch the first one -- 'cos I'm not a fan of human-like animals (in film)...BUT I loved it when I finally watched it
Thanks for the heads-up, Tracy

Tracy, in two minds about this. I didn't mind the first one, but not sure if that's because that book was the one I prefered. I didn't really get into the other books, I think I was too old a child when I started reading them.
I liked the production of it though, so will probably still see it at some stage! On DVD though.

You’re welcome.
I’m also not a huge fan of human-like animals, for some reason they scare me – but I did like the look of this film. And I like hopping into a fantasy world sometimes so this could be one for me.
Thanks for popping in,

I didn't see the first one so I think I might experiment with this one. I loved the books and hopefully the film is pretty good.

Hopefully they can make all seven before the kids get too old.

Thanks for that link to your site. Yes, I wonder how they will go with making seven films, it's quite a challenge. Hopefully this film will work well and the flashback scenes will be effective.
I'm looking forward to seeing it.
