CLINT EASTWOOD MAY RETURN TO ACTING

CLINT EASTWOOD MAY RETURN TO ACTING

It seems that Clint Eastwood might back on our screens after all. Entertainment Weekly interviewed him and asked him this question, to which he replied:

"You never say never, but right now, I've moved to the back of the camera, and I've sort of been enjoying it there. So we'll have to wait and see on that."

"If I don't do it again, it won't break my heart, because I've had a good, long run, but if something good comes along down the line... If something like Million Dollar Baby comes along again, maybe I will," he added.

After his elusive answer, Eastwood also mentioned that he has read a few scripts with thoughts of starring in the films, but up to this point, he has turned them all down. "I've read a couple. But not enough to bring me back in front," he admits. "I like the back of the camera."

Eastwood also revealed that his next project The Changeling will start production in October. "I'm preparing that right now, and we're starting that — let's see, we're almost in September. When we get to September, it'd be the next month, in October."

Apparently, Paul Haggis, the Million Dollar Baby screenwriter offered Eastwood the lead role in his upcoming movie, In the Valley of Elah, which the actor/director turned down. The role eventually went to Tommy Lee Jones.

So it looks like we will have to see what happens next. It could be interesting...

Tracy,

He looks lid he'd do me nicely, but something tells me he may be a lot older than he looks.

Certainly he's in good shape, well, to look at, anyway.

How is his acting ability?

Much as I love Clint doing his thing behind the scenes, I would be thrilled to see him create history once more... before he keels over and IS history.

Tasteless, i know, but he is kicking on a bit.

Great post, Tracy.

HI Michaelie

Thanks for the laugh! Yes, he is getting on a bit, he's in his late 70s...pretty impressive I think...

I wonder if he will act again, sounds like he's tempted,
