ELIZABETH: THE GOLDEN AGE - TRAILER
September 10th 2007 17:44
In the Toronto International Film Festival several new movies premiered their trailers, one of which was this one, Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
Cate Blanchett won the Best Actress honor for I'm Not There in Venice Film Festival, which yet again proves my claim that she's the best actress currently in business.
Judging by the trailer of Elizabeth: The Golden Age, some more awards are awaiting her after its opening, October 12.
Watch the trailer here.

Really looking forward to this. Not just because of Cate and her Elizabeth but also because I have always loved the stories of Sir Walter Raleigh. Hope Kapur does the cape over puddle thing...
I love that Cate has also got excellent comic timing...I loved her in 'Bandits'...also love her as a redhead!
Funny...I didn't like her as Galadriel but only because I first read LOTR when I was 10 and had formed an image in my mind as to what an Elf Queen would look like...so not Cate's 'fault' at all, more an expectation on my part.
(Having said that...because Arwen wasn't a central figure in the books...had never 'formed' her image so Liv Tyler was heavenly...and Virgo was perfect as Aragon and I'm going on and on...!)
I'm going now...Really happy to 'see' you. Hope you're well.

ps. Chic-ita...Cate's style is impeccable. Her red carpet dresses (starting from that Galiano-?- one when she was nominated for 'Elizabeth' was breathtaking. An all time favourite. How about a Stylish Women in Film series of fashion posts??)

I can't comment muck on your words, because I haven't seen any of the LOTRs, but I know it's your fault and not Cate's you didn't find her appropriate
And yes, she knows how to be beautiful.
Have a great one,
