Hello all Michael Madsen fans! Here's a first look at one of his newest movies that ended filming few days ago.
It's called Outrage and is a thriller about some bad guys that try to get hold of the funds that are kept secret by the hero. The only way to reach the money is by finding the code to a safe. And so on. [IMDB]
Not much is revealed just yet, but it's an independent movie so don't expect something huge either. That means unless it ends up being really good and gets positive critique in festivals, studio release, etc. Michael Madsen is reason enough to think it has nice chances at it.
Anyway, a picture is available from the set, not the most clear one, but you can see Michael in it, looking hardcore as always.

Why I remember Masden most is because I've got this mate called Scott ... (muso ... and as out there as they come ... [He goes to see Reservoir Dogs and comes back and says, "You really should see it. There's a guy in it, just like you."
So I watch it, and go, "I didn't see anyone in the film who looks like me."
Scott goes, "Na, acts like you. The guy who cut the cop's ear off."
So I go, "Ah, okay. Got you now."
Scott is one of those guys who, if he got off the drugs, would be one of the world's greatest musos. He was invited to LA to meet up with a leading agency. He's sitting in the waiting lounge, and there's this guy sitting next to him. Scott has no idea who this guy is (too off his face, I guess). He introduces himself. The other guy goes 'Brad'. Scott goes. "You got a last name?" The guy goes, "Yeah. Pitt." So, he spends the weekend at Brad Pitt's place getting off his nut. Came back to Australia. Got married. No idea what he's up to nowadays. Maybe his wife will sort him out (if he's still married that is ...

I'm sure Scott is doing what he always does ... surviving ...
He always knows he can pick up a lazy $100 busking for half-an-hour any time he likes ... He just plays and sings the songs chicks like ... (Often he gets more than money from them ...
He's got the most amazing voice I've ever heard ... When he sings Kravitz? You'd swear Lenny was singing. When he sings U2? You'd swear Bono was singing ... etc ...
I should really write a
bookfilm about him ... 'Outrageous' I might call it ... Masden could play him ...David ...

I would go see that movie. Especially if it was called Outrageous with Madsen in it. Sounds very fresh and original.
