Get Smart was a 60’s Sitcom about the misadventures of agent 86, Maxwell Smart, and his assistant 99. For those who can’t remember, here’s a reminder.
Fans of the show will be alternately appalled and delighted to know that a big screen remake is on then cards, starring Steve Carroll as Smart, and Anne Hathaway as 99.
If you’d asked me before I saw Little Miss Sunshine, I’d have told you I had no faith in the movie being any good. However, after seeing that Steve Carroll is more than capable of a credible performance, I’m leaving my judgment up to the final product. Let’s hope the screenwriters have delivered.

But if you had to, then Steve Carrell is probably inspired casting.
