HARRY POTTER NEWS AND BOYCOTT
November 19th 2006 19:39
There are plenty of Harry Potter news flowing around on the net right now, but I don't really care. Why? Because I don't like Harry Potter and his friends. No, actually I try to boycott them.
I can hear you... yelling that I'm stupid and stuff... Well, I can't please everyone, can I?
Anyhow, this is supposed to be the post where I tell you about these new pics and videoclip from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", but I won't. You know, cause I boycott it.
Okay, just the poster, but that's it:

I understand why you'd want to see it, so you should. But I won't, just so ya'll know.

But it is pretty popular whether one likes it or not.
Some Harry Potter books have been banned from school libraries for promoting witchcraft.
But that said, everyone does have a right to their own opinion.

Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and there sure are a lot of reasons a fan should be attracted to the Harry Potters.
See, even schools are with me!
Thanks for stopping by, come again!

Yes, I think I heard something like that too, but I'm not the right person to answer that... Any Harry-fan reading this, give us some insight please.

The characters don't appeal, the story doesn't appeal, etc... so it just feels overrated. Of course the effects might be good, but hey, if I want effects I can watch King Kong once more.
Nice to hear from ya postmoderncritic!

Fun Facts
It's been a while since I've read the books, but if the movie follows the plotline of the book enough, then yes, somebody does die in it.
Even though I know you're boycotting it FP, that might make you happy. ; )
