JOHN RAMBO - TRAILER

May 19th 2007 20:34
Already, since the first official photos introduced few days ago, a production trailer of John Rambo is out.

It's very bloody and what we see is Rambo, with several extra pounds, being sad and resonating with Julie Benz in the first half until we get to see some hardcore action of Rambo ripping off heads and attacking people from behind.

That's pretty much it. I still am not convinced about the quality though. WARNING, not for children or the sensitive ones.

Yep it looks like another 300.
Why does America need an army when they have Rambo?

Thjat's right because he is just a figment of someones crazy imagination.

Who is fighting this time?
Obviously not Iran or Iraq.
Must be South Emerica. All of it.

Fighting burmese people. Poor guys didn't know what to expect. Could have been worse they could have sent in Chuck Norris.
Like the whole gory over the top violence, this movie deserves it. Rambo still sounds like hes hitting the bottle though. Maybe they all would have surrended if they could understand the words coming out of his mouth.

RAMBO- droep tjgfku guinin

Burmese Soldier- What?

BANG! big explosion, human wallpaper, the end.

Man, sly is old and fat. He didn't look like a boxer in Rocky and he sure doesn't look like an elite soldier either. His old movies where great. But this ... no way.

Well, I'm not sure what it is but this trailer seems to be on the cheap. When I was a film student I knew that certain things make films look cheap. Now this may be shot on what is known as "dailies footage" film giving it a cheaper quality look. If a director doesn't use the right type of film or they don't have enough money to get high quality film then you get what looks to be like a straight-to-video quality film. A good example is the film used in a movie such as Terminator 2 directed by James Cameron and then look at Terminator 3 directed by Johnathan Mostow. Two different types of film used to make the movies, two different looks and feels for each movie. I felt that Mostow used the wrong type of film, making it look cheesy. I'm not a hatter, I love Rambo and will go and see this flick no matter what! I just hope Sly used a different type of film when recording this movie than he did with this trailer.

Now this is what we've been missing! Old School, hardcore action, and none of that CGI bull crap!!! Let Stallone come at us with his style. Rocky Balboa was good. John Rambo might be violent but then again it could be something slightly different just like Rocky Balboa was!!! You haters know you will go and see this movie!!

Hey Arif

Rest assured, the film will look great...this is a production trailer, not an official movie trailer...it was released mostly for people like you guys who will care enough to watch...general movie audiences are not going to see this, so theres no real need to spend the money prettying-it-up

As a fan of the old Rambo movies, I think this one would be a good addition to the story. Im looking forward to seeing this one, gory or not. Thats what combat is supposed to be about right, its not pretty. Kick ass and take names.

Your text goes here
This looks like a good action movie, gory and violent, I saw the other three and they are great; Stallone still has the edge and it is a pity it took him so long to produce this new one. Those that say he looks fat, I want to see if you look as ripped as this guy does in Rocky Balboa and he is over 60 year old!

Surely he would be in strict training for this film....how else could be do it...and yes he's doing well for someone over 60!
