life as we know it trailer

Two single adults become caregivers to an orphaned girl when their mutual best friends die in an accident.

Katherine Heigl is kinda connected with awkward comedies and a lot of girls will be stoked to see Duhamel, but other than that, the trailer to this comedy doesn't exactly give me high expectations. Why do two adults need to live together in order to take care of a child? Anyone heard of separated homes?
