LINDSAY LOHAN – POSES NAKED FOR NEW YORK MAGAZINE

I know this may seem like old news as we’ve seen various Lindsay bodily pieces pop out in all directions before, but this time it’s intentional. Lindsay has committed to posing nude in a Marilyn Monroe-style for photographer Bert Stern. The photographs will be published in the New York magazine on sale Monday. Get your copy quick before they sell out.


The theme of the shoot was to re-create Monroe's pictures from the famed 1962 shoot, entitled, ‘The Last Sitting.’ Bert Stern worked with Lohan at the Hotel Bel-Air in California, the same hotel where Marilyn was found dead in 1962 six weeks later. Lindsay posed wearing an iconic blond wig, chiffon and little else.

When asked how she felt about completing the shoot, Lindsay answered: ‘’I didn't have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It's really an honor.’

I wonder what Lindsay does put much thought into...

I think that’s one of benefits of attraction, it doesn’t have to be logical seeing as often it isn’t... so I think you can enjoy her pictures as much as you like without needing a reason.

I just went through the photos again, and I'm sorry but they are just horrendous! No class, no elegance, no allure whatsoever. She has two breasts - they are the only curves I'm seeing. There is no sensuality there. Every pose is slightly off, and less than flattering. Her skin tone is unnatural. She's pale skinned and freckly but looks like she has the remnants of last month's spray tan. Her makeup is awful and looks streaky and the stitch line of the wig stands out.

Alright, that's all I have to say now. I am surprised at my escalating dislike of these photos!

I just looked at them a bit closer again too. I see what you're saying - I don't think they are great but overall they are better than I was expecting...mostly because I didn't expect anything positive from her. I really can't stand her, hence my quip.

I was surprised at her curves and boob size, did they get enhanced? I thought she looked quite sexy (compared to her anorexic state) in a couple then they do deteriorate and she does stand at peculiar angles.

The sad thing is that no matter what people think, she's still getting attention and that's probably what she wants.

I have to agree with Flick Wit.
I cannot believe that Lindsay Lohan was picked to do this. She doesnt even compare to Marilyn Monroe! Where are the curves for one!?
She is not even close to looking like the once elegant Monroe. Its a shame that Lohan was picked to do this.
What about Charlize Theron? Now that makes sense!

I used to think Lindsay Lohan was a very shaggable looking broad, but these do absolutely nothing for me. She looks like some dregs they picked up off the street! Marilyn oozed style and elegance, as well as a subtle eroticism, which Lindsay couldn't possess even if she sold her soul to the Devil.

Oh man...if they had run the original pics of Marilyn next to these, this whole lot would have been thrown out.

Marilyn at 36 was curvaceous and womanly, with a waist and hips. These pics are just...ugh, sorry. Have a look at the original Marilyn pics and you'll see what I mean.

The henna tat at the small of the back, along with the bad wig and sparkplug figure are a joke, not a tribute. Why not just photograph LL as herself? That would have been much better for LL as well. I have a feeling she's going to regret these photos.

Shame on Stern, what was he thinking??

Can this skank do anything original? First Herbee now Marilyn - How much was Stern paid? It does not look like the work of Stern - I think they meant - Intern.

Sorry, but the photos show a typical girl - there is nothing in here eyes that resonates soul or sex. If you don't know what I mean look up from her boobs (really, you can do it) and look into here eyes, I see vacant landscape. Marilyn's eyes catch you - Lohan just looks high.

Funny you don't see Playboy tapping her on the shoulder for a shoot.... they have some taste - New Yorker just wants to sell some mags.

I am going to boycott the New Yorker for putting money before art - Marilyn's pose was art - this is a sales gimmick with a touch of PR thrown in for bad measure.

It's amazing how people are digging way to deep into this. Lindsay is not Marilyn, and isn't trying to take anything away from her. It's a tribute to a great icon. Oh, and Lindsay...you look smoking!

In reference to the people whom think Lindsay is too trashy to pose is utterly retarded. Marilyn was trashy and a dope abuser so therefore it shouldn’t be an issue, at least Lindsay didn’t kill herself. Stop being so damn hypocritical, take a look at the real picture.

Marilyn DIDN'T KILL HERSELF! When you look at Marilyn's pictures, regardless of whether she did drugs or not, they still had the SOUL. Just stunning! Lindsay's tribute is her own thing, and she tried. They're not terrible, but definitely not great- so many others could have done this better!

By the way, Marilyn WAS NOT found dead at the Hotel Bel-air, she died at home..... Lindsay does own her last home though, the one Marilyn died in...

Marilyn was the sexiest and glamorous God's creation ever and it was always going to be a hard job for anyone to do better or even equally great job. Personally I think Lindsay is very pretty and sexy, but these photos made her look horrible. Her skin looks like she's got patches of spray tan and the marks after bikini,.., it just doesn't look good. She looks tired and fake. But most of ll that pink cloth and blonde wig completely don't match her. It just doesn't look like her.
Her face expressions are sexy and cute but her body color looks just not right... In a different environment, different color palette she would look really beautiful. But this setting and those blonde locks are reserved only for Marilyn.
About who could do it better than Lindsay I'd say Christina Aguilera. She is trying to look like Marilyn and she could do quite a good job but she doesn't have that mistery in her eyes like Marilyn did.

Well, she's not Marilyn. Gwen Stephani is also channeling, or trying to, Marilyn for her LAMB perfume, and a hair care company is using MM to sell their product...

Why?

The original is still the best, and the funniest, in her movies.

GEEZ, you people SUCK!! Why do you think people like "LL" drift into anorexic behavior in the first place? How can you all be so critical of her figure or her level of attractiveness!? How many women would give a left tit to have her body or her face, and how many men a left nut just to be next to a woman with her body or her face? Disturbed or not, she's beautiful. Marilyn Monroe or not, she's beautiful. If you want to attack her, attack her for her decisions rather than perpetuating the status quo we force upon our female celebrities and the young girls and women who want to match their appearances...the status quo you yourselves probably would condemn if the camera were trained on you or your friends. She very likely doesn't deserve the fame or the money or the liberties she's received, but she definitely doesn't deserve your playground pettiness.

Wield any witticism you want in retort. I won't see it, cuz I no longer have confidence that these threads are woven by decent, intelligent people.

I know what you mean, wouldn’t the celebrities prefer to be famous for their own doing rather than emulating someone else?

As I said to Michaelie, I don’t think the pictures are rotten but they’re surely not outstanding nor in Marilyn’s realm.

Having said that, I do think it's good to see LL looking healthier...

my wife and I looked at these photos when the magazine came in.
we both agreed that the photographer shouldn't be allowed near another for a while.
we couldn't understand how lohan's people allowed these terrible, boring pictures to be released

i think scarlett johannson would've been PERFECT for this. she looks a lot like marilyn in every way. face, curves, everything.

lindsay's pretty. but she's not the same type of pretty as marilyn. lindsay's porn star/party girl pretty. marilyn was classy/sexy/burlesque pretty.

they're just not in the same "genre" you could say.

as much as i dislike LLs excessive lifestyle lately, i dont think she is or is not a worthy successor to MM. People love MM, but shes hardly the perfect woman, between psychosis, whorishness, and frank stupidity, MM's death was the only thing she did right. At least LL is mostly all original parts.
MM is a whore of her generation, and LL is a whore of ours. deal with it.
