AUSSIE ABBIE CORNISH IS THE NEW BOND GIRL

Daniel Craig Is returning to the role of double agent 007 in December 2007 with a new Aussie sidekick Abbie Cornish.
I think it’s an interesting and unexpected choice with Cornish. To me, she doesn’t have the brash beauty that the previous Bond girls had. I see her as having a subtle, atmospheric allure which appeals to me more. I am definitely interested in seeing this new Bond film.
Apparently, Rose Byrne was also back on the shortlist for the new film, according to various film sources. I would’ve been happy with either of the two contenders as they are both talented actors usually involved in challenging films such as Candy and Somersault for Cornish and The Rage in Placid Lake and Two Hands.
Good luck to her and I’m looking forward to seeing it.

She's definitely an interesting choice and hope this is a lucky break for her but...I think it has more to do with her sudden notoriety.
Wasn't Cornish blamed for some Hollywood break-up?
