NEXT BOND 22 VILLAIN?
November 19th 2007 12:16
Sometimes the casting is quite exiting, especially when it's about such legendary characters as the Bond villains. They're always the meanest and still the smartest ones.
Casino Royale had the Scandinavian Mads Mikkelsen in the role, and he was alright if you ask me. Now for the next installment, Bond 22, it's kinda revealed that Mathieu Amalric is already signed as the villain.
I don't know much about Amalric, but he looks as a villain. Recently he starred in The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, a French film that won a couple of Cannes awards and got a nice buzz. In other words, even though Mathieu Amalric has been involved in some big movies so far, this might be the start of him being more in the center.
The development of Bond 22 is moving great and I'm excited to hear the next news.

Yea, I think of it all the time. Almost. Probably up for a 2008 autumn release...
Hey Tracy,
Well, Bond will be British, but the villain will be French. Villains are almost always from all over the world in Bond...
Have a good one,

..this is toooo exciting.. a french villan mai wee...perfection.
Is this the 22nd Bond film, no it's the 23rd, isn't it?
The No: 22 is very interesting from my perspective as it is a Master Number in Numerology and so you can imagine that I am poised for all the spiritual significance that the script may come to bear... keeping in mind too the French connection...so very interesting, and when added to it being a Bond?
well...
thanks for this 'snippet.'

Yea, it's Never Say Never since it's mostly considered as an "off remake" of Thunderball.
So officially there are only 22 if we count the one that's coming next year.

Gosh, some of them were so cheesy (Moonraker), I don't agree with the whole thing.
I thought Never say Never was very good Bond-romp, especially to see Sean again... ho hum, such is the status quo. ..
