NICOLAS CAGE IS AL CAPONE

UPDATE: Cage dropped from playing Al Capone.
I'm sure you remember The Untouchables, with Kevin Costner and Sean Connery. I'm also sure you liked it.
Brian De Palma, the director, is currently working on a sequel (more of a prequel) called The Untouchables: Capone Rising. I know you're thinking something along the lines of "oh no", but when the original director agrees to work on a sequel it's almost always a good sign.
Now it's confirmed who'll play Al Capone in it. Nicolas Cage. Even though Cage is lately really disappointing, I still believe he's a great actor. Nicolas Cage has worked with Brian before, in Snake Eyes, another awesome movie.
Capone Rising will be about Capone's arrival in Chicago, his dealings with cop Jimmy Malone, and his subsequent rise to power. [IMDB]
