PINEAPPLE EXPRESS - TRAILER AND POSTER
April 3rd 2008 18:03
We haven't talked about this movie much, but it sure is worth it, so here you get it in the face. Pineapple Express is the title and Seth Rogen is the keyname. Seth has great comedy and it's proven with Superbad and Knocked Up.
In Pineapple Express we also get James Franco as his partner in crime (or smoooke), who is more of an actor than a comedian. Which is good, you get funny story in quality package.
The movie is about a stoner and his dealer that are forced to go on the run from the police after the pothead witnesses a cop commit a murder. [IMDB]
A trailer is out and it hits the target, with a tagline saying "one hit could ruin your entire day". However the poster looks fine too, but with another tagline, the still as fun "put this in your pipe and smoke it".
Pineapple Express is released August 8th.

PRIDE AND GLORY - POSTER
December 20th 2007 10:04
A new poster for the upcoming Edward Norton cop drama, Pride and Glory has recently been circulating. It features blue and black side-profile shots of Norton with Colin Farrell behind him.
Pride and Glory, written by Gavin O'Connor (Tumbleweeds) and Joe Carnahan (Narc), tells the tale of a family whose lives revolve around the NYPD.
The tagline states: "The last thing you want to uncover... is the truth."
Norton will play a homicide detective assigned to investigate the precinct run by his older brother (Noah Emmerich). Farrell will star as the investigator's best friend, an officer whose integrity is ambiguous.
O'Conner is co-directing the film and told Variety magazine that the project is one he believes in. He stated: 'My father was a New York City detective, and I grew up in that world. It's a celebration of honest cops, which was everything my father was about. Though it is fictional, it is homage to my father.'
Pride and Glory is due to begin shooting in New York in January 2008.

INDIANA JONES 4 - POSTER
December 15th 2007 23:19
Here we have it, the latest, newly-released Indiana Jones 4 and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull picture with Harrison Ford looking pretty hot and sexy, especially for a man of forty-seven years old.
Indy has his shirt sleeves rolled up, in a classic pose of defiance looking ready for anything that may happen. He’s armed with a rope, while surrounded by various skull markings. And of course, anything may happen in his next adventure.
There’s not too long to wait before we learn more...

THE DARK KNIGHT - POSTER
December 14th 2007 10:57
Amazing buzz went around when the Joker first was revealed, and just when things are about to calm down, we get the poster of The Dark Knight. Well done, marketing people.
I like it a lot. It is a bit similar to the previous one, with the same Batman pose and all, but overall I get pretty excited to learn what he's doing in that building etc...

ALIENS VS. PREDATOR: REQUIEM - POSTER
November 8th 2007 13:37
It seems from the comments on the trailer posted few weeks ago, people really want Aliens vs Predator - Requiem. And it's perfectly understandable since it looks groovy and better than its predecessor.
The poster is alright, only showing Predator, but I guess Alien is hiding somewhere for the perfect moment to pop out and inside.

AUGUST RUSH - POSTER
November 5th 2007 15:26
There have been mixed reviews about August Rush, the movie about an orphan musician. In summary I guess you could say the pictures are wonderful and very imaginative, but even though the story is strong, it can be experienced as somewhat predictive and cliché.
The trailer of August Rush looked promising though, and the poster is kinda cute as well.

JUMPER - TRAILER AND POSTER
November 3rd 2007 17:33
Not much has been said around here about adventure/sci-fi movie Jumper, but here's a good reason to do so. The new poster is very attractive and gathers interest. I'm a big fan of good adventures that unfortunately don't get released very often due to their budget.
So, since you now have seen the poster to Jumper, it's time for the trailer. The trailer is complex, you don't understand what really goes on, but that's the point. It's one of those movies you can't afford to get distracted or you'll miss important story-information.
But it looks nice, and includes a great cast.

DEL TORO'S 'THE ORPHANAGE' - POSTER
November 2nd 2007 16:14
Since Guillermo del Toro is one of the currently most imaginative film-makers, with Pan's Labyrinth as a worthy Oscar-winner, here's the poster to his new movie - The Orphanage (or El Orfanato in Spanish).
Although he's not directing, "just" producing.
When Laura returns to the house where she was raised, she decides to transform it into an orphanage. Soon, her son, Simón, makes an invisible friend and stuff start happening... [IMDB]

BABYLON A.D. - POSTER
October 19th 2007 17:38
Some Vin Diesel fans are really looking forward to Babylon A.D. We saw a clip a while ago, that was rather entertaining. Maybe not perfect, but entertaining.
Now it's time for the poster, that can be described in pretty much the same way - OK, not great, but OK.
Luckily it's not anything final, more like a teaser poster. Or poster teaser.

NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS - POSTER
October 1st 2007 22:04
You would think this poster is cool, but when looking at it more than few seconds it's kinda annoying. I mean you see they tried too hard and that Nicholas' hair is obviously fake and that he's about to drop his head, etc etc.
However I don't believe this says anything about the movie, which I still have high expectations for. I shouldn't, but I do.
After absorbing the poster below, head over to this post for the trailer and more info on National Treasure: Book of Secrets.

POSTAL - POSTER
September 30th 2007 14:57
Heavens this guy doesn't LEARN!!! Can Uwe Boll stop fiddling with the scripts he's given, cause don't think all movies just coincidentally happens to be awful. Look at the poster of Postal below and let me know what expectations it manages to deliver.
Exactly, none, which is probably right. Watch a clip over here.

ATONEMENT - POSTER
September 24th 2007 15:03
A lot of people say Atonement is one of the most overrated dramas this year. And I believe that, mostly because the director made Pride and Prejudice as well - a movie I think is incredibly overrated too.
But even if that's the case, I still find it exciting. The cast is picked correctly, Keira Knightley and James McAvoy do have a perfect chemistry between them, and Ian McEwan is a quite interesting writer.
I guess it's one of those "love or hate" movies. For the trailer and more info, head over here.

ONE MISSED CALL - POSTER
September 24th 2007 14:53
Usually I don't write about movies I myself think sound horrible, but One Missed Call has a poster that I couldn't but share with you. It's so incredibly disturbing and freaky at the same time, two things the movie probably is as well. In other words I guess it's oddly a successful poster. Did I just say that?

Yesterday, we took a look at the trailer of Juno, today it's the poster.
Obviously it tries to catch an independent feeling, which nowadays usually is a good thing.

THE KINGDOM - POSTER
September 11th 2007 12:05
For you that saw the VMA's the other day noticed how Jamie Foxx went on and on about the release of this movie, The Kingdom. At least I have it tattooed in my mind now...
It's written by what seems to be a great writer, Matthew Michael Carnahan, who has several huge movies in production all at the same time. Lions for Lambs starring Tom Cruise and Meryl Streep, State of Play starring Brad Pitt, White Jazz with George Clooney. Get my point?
Here's the poster for The Kingdom though, and if you haven't seen the trailer it's here. Oh, and it opens up 28 September.

HITMAN - POSTER
September 5th 2007 21:20
When you start to feel a movie rub itself on you, then you know its release is approaching. Not long ago we got the trailer of Hitman and now a brand new poster.
I think it looks more like a poster for the game than the movie. At least they could have the actor's face on it instead of a computer-generated one.

SAW IV - FINAL POSTER
August 30th 2007 19:24
Creepy Saw IV is closing its release and we actually don't know much about the plot other than that Jigsaw is a crazy dude even when he's dead.
Can't help but to love the unpredictable twist though. Watch a bloody clip here.

P.S. I LOVE YOU - POSTER WITH GERARD BUTLER
August 24th 2007 18:07
Gerard Butler has won a lot of hearts after his role in 300, and I'm sure not just women ones considering the tight panties he wore.
In P.S, I Love You he's with Hilary Swank who is a bit of both genders (see Boy's Don't Cry). As for the plot it's about a young widow that discovers 10 messages her late husband left, intended to help ease her pain and start a new life. [IMDB]
Here's the new poster.
