RATATOUILLE - LONG TRAILER!
March 16th 2007 14:12
You remember oldies, like Aristocats and Cinderella? Well, I don't remember grown-ups respecting those movies a lot, even thought they were great. However I can't blame them, since they were made significantly for children. The humor, the animation, everything.
Now we've entered a new era, were animated movies are no longer for the kids alone, but is more 50-50. Adults enjoy them, as do I. Actually I have seen every single animated movie from Toy Story on. Thank you Pixar.
I think Pixar made the start and then Dreamworks and other companies followed. The humor is on a completely new level and everyone can laugh. Hard.
Now, to get to the point, Ratatouille is probably one of the movies I've been "dying" for in a long time. The animation, the story, the city... Who doesn't love Paris?
A new trailer is out, intended for the Japanese (or Chinese?) market, that gives us a perfect look into what the movie is going to be about. It's longer than usual, 3 minutes, which makes me think it isn't the same we're gonna see in the US together with Meet the Robinsons near the end of this month.
The movements of the rat are so smooth. Incredible. Check it out and let me know your thoughts. Embedding is disabled so you have to visit YouTube to see the trailer.
