SPIDER-MAN 4 WRITER SIGNED

This period nothing new develops in Hollywood due to the Writer's Guild strike. However Sony signed James Vanderbilt to write the fourth installment in the Spider-Man franchise. Sure, he'll probably not be able to write, but maybe make up a story, etc.

James is the screenwriter behind David Fincher's Zodiac, a quite overrated movie if you ask me. Something that can be considered positive about it though, is the fact that he knows how to create a dark movie. Spider-Man 4 needs dark and therefore it needs someone like James Vanderbilt.

Sam Raimi and the other cast-members aren't certain, but I wouldn't mind if things changed. In a good way of course. Rumors about who the villains will be are already circulating.

I agree, the Spiderman films do need some darkness. I wonder how this one will go...

Hey Tracy, I'm glad you also share the same opinion. I mean the last Spider-man had the shot of being the darkness but turned out comedic.
