SPIDERMAN BROADWAY MUSICAL?

Ok look. I like musicals a lot, but this is just more than even I can handle. A Spiderman musical? That's incredibly stupid and awful. Or is it? Yes, it is.

The Hollywood Reporter reports it's true though:


Marvel Studios is putting the pieces together for a musical on the Great White Way starring the popular superhero, which will be directed by Tony winner Julie Taymor, with U2's Bono and the Edge creating new music and lyrics for the project.

What's next? Superman dancing around in those red panties? Oh, wait, that's already happened back in the 60s.

Man, the entertainment world is really desperate...

There are so many 'gays' in the entertainment business ...

I once wrote a hard-core satire on the government's Zero Tolerance policy (I was commissioned to write it for a theatre company) ...

I go along to watch it being perfomed? They turned it into a faggoty musical ... 1920s gangster style ???

I wasn't impressed ... I can't stand musicals ... To those who love them? That's fine by me ... But I can't stand the damn things ...

If my wife woke up and started singing ... operatically 'Will you pleassse do your thing'? ... I'd punch her out ... and start looking for another one *

Well, not only or mostly 'gays' enjoy musicals, but I get your point. I'm pretty hardcore and cool myself, but still love the damn things.

It sux when people turn what you've created in something you hate. I know.

About the wife-thing, it depends on how good she can sing. LOL

That's good! Maybe you should send it to the producers, you never know. But it sounds better with "ting-e-ling-e-ling" instead of just "ting-ling".

I'm sure you understand with that musical talent of yours.

What you guys are forgetting is that there are musicals such as lets say rocky horror picture show and grease for example bridge the scenes transitions with a song, so there will be acting/scripted lines then song then acting/scripted lines then song etc...If they got Bruce Campbell in on it then well everyone would go see it or maybe not. And one more thing, liking musicals does not make you a homosexual and saying words like "faggot" is the equivalent of saying a racial slur, so grow up and take off your swastika arm band and KKK shroud.
