I like the post-title *creepy smile*. You think the trailer is superbad, while in reality the movie is called Superbad. Ok, geek alert, I know.
Superbad is made by the people behind Talladega Nights and 40 Year Old Virgin. If you've seen them, you'll know what to expect. The humor-level is very low, in a good way. I like to call it random comedy, where you never know what is to come. Anything and everything can happen, which is why it works so well.
I must admit I laughed my brains out with both the above mentioned movies. Good pure comedies are hard to come by, so it was a nice refreshing experience. Also, this is R-rated. When a comedy is R-rated it pretty much means guaranteed laugh these days.
The trailer to Superbad has been out for a few days, but hasn't been easy to access. You had to go to Sony's website, mark your birth even though the trailer is approved for all ages, and so on and so on. Now you can see it embedded right here.
I especially like the part with the cops in the store, and the whole Jew-African thing. Superbad is released mid-August.

I don't know about this, but you should definitely give Talladega and 40 Year a chance. Not even close to traditional Hollywood comedies.
