The Dead Girl Trailer
July 19th 2007 10:56
I haven't seen this film yet, but it's one I'm keen to see soon. Hopefully this weekend if I can wangle it.
The Dead Girl is the second feature from writer-director Karen Moncrieff. It’s one of those films with numerous big names in it, here’s a few to give you an idea: Toni Collette, Eva Loseth, Rose Byrne and Piper Laurie.
Its basic premise is that five separate, but loosely linked stories are told through several characters all of which have a connection to a dead girl. We spend time with each character and delve deeper into their psyches, insecurities and relationships. Yes, as you can tell…human drama most definitely ensues.
Apparently, men are not depicted favourably in this film, it’s a story about women and the five main actresses are quite superb. So this is the film to see if you feel like some female superiority.
