This is where I say "pleeeeaaase". Why in the world does every single guy with a lot of muscles (like mine) wanna play in movies with tiny annoying brats?
Arnold Schwarzenegger in Kindergarten Cop, Vin Diesel in The Pacifier and now The Rock in The Game Plan.

Everyone knows their entrenched role of who these guys usually play, the tough guy plays that role with a softer edge and the audience understands the contrast and can imagine quite quickly the hilarity and awkwardness that will ensue, being comedy. It's safe, predictable but some people find that quite funny.
