Each year we do not only get a lot of vampire movies, but also a fair amount of zombie flicks.
The Invasion looks surprisingly good if my vote counts, and they succeeded to finally make a movie with zombie-like creatures look professional instead of plain ridiculous. I have yet to see 28 Weeks Later, which also has gotten positive reactions, but I believe I'll like The Invasion more.
Nicole Kidman is trying to find a way to stop a wide alien epidemic as she struggles to protect her kid. Daniel Craig helps her out. [IMDB]
The trailer is suspenseful and exactly what gets me excited.

Nicole Kidman is one of the dullest actresses on the planet, the only hope I have for this latest version of the same story is that Director Oliver Hischbiegel has skills, I really enjoyed Downfall and Das Experiment.

If you like zombie movies, you should definitely catch it. And they say Disturbia is good too. Made big bucks in the box office anyway...
