Amazing! Mark Brown, the maker of Barbershop found a completely new genre and style to explore!
It's called The Salon and is about a bunch of black people in a beautyshop, where the owner fights to save it as she struggles with love. [IMDB]
Of course the title is changed, it's more of a... synonym.
But seriously, I liked Barbershop. It was fun and refreshing, with great dialogue. Therefore, this doesn't bother me. I mean, why not do what you're good at instead of forcing yourself to do things outside of your territory (like Uwe Boll who directs instead of boxing).
A nice cast is gathered this time as well - Terrence Howard, Vivica A. Fox, etc. The new poster is available and you can see it right here:
